The Jukebox at The Diner: "Back To School" - Recess
No Screenwriting as a Pro or Writers Block this week.
Hello, my dear readers. It’s been a busy month. James Dalessandro’s Screenwriting as Pro group has been amazing. I’m writing the first draft of “The Jukebox at The Diner Halloween Special” as a scripted television special. If you haven’t read it online yet, take a peek, it’s a lot of fun.
Also, near the end is a little shout-out to Tennessee Williams. I mention this because I would like to share a member of the group’s work. Robbie Robertson directed this amazing short called Whistler’s Mother. Oh, the tone.
Robbie also has mastered the art of Pitch Decks on Canva. If you’re a screenwriter already, or interested in getting into film and television, I cannot recommend the Screenwriting As A Pro and Writers Block groups enough. If you’d like more info reach out to me.
I’ve also started writing Volume Four: “Night Shift”. It’s an anthology story series, where I give each character an adventure. We’re starting with Maddisun, and after that, everyone from Ed, Maggie, and Charlie to Danny and Miss Jackson will have their tale to tell, either on their own or guiding a passenger from the bus. Think Fantasy Island. Here’s Maddisun’s story, in progress. It’s called “Poker Games & Pink Ladies” and is the first time I've turned the experience to 11. #spinaltap
Finally, I’ll leave you with a super secret link to a preview of something I’m not ready to share publicly. That’s all for this week’s “Back To School”. The final two parts of Maddisun’s story will wrap up by June 7th when her new single “Feelin’ It Again” drops.
